Teen Film Making Camp: Lights, Camera, Action!
Museum London launched its first Teen Camp this summer and partnered with Fanshawe College's Film Production Department to realize a series of short films. Instructor Kelly O'Dette taught the campers about older format for film making, like 8, 16 and 35 mm, and had the teens explore non-conventional equipment such as slide and overhead projectors. Fanshawe College brought the teens back up to date by lending iMacs with Final Cut Pro, as well as other equipment, and student Brittany Farhat was hired to edit the short films. Visit www.museumlondon.ca for other classes and camps for children, teens and adults.
